Cross-stitch is a great way to improve our mental well-being by redirecting our energy to create something beautiful.

Come and learn the basic cross-stitch techniques in this breezy workshop!

Cross-stitching can help to:

  • Regain control by giving us something to have full authority over
  • Reduce stress as it allows us to work at our own pace
  • Maintain our cognitive vitality by keeping our present and engaged
  • Keep our mind healthy, active and bringing a kind of inner calmness
  • Boosting our brain function throughout life, from childhood to adulthood

When it comes to kids, working together on a cross-stitch pattern is a great way to reconnect and collaborate. Because their world is so saturated with technology, creating a shared project together can help to spark conversation and closeness.
