AA Ordinary Membership

General Terms & Conditions

  • AA Ordinary Membership is open to all holders of a valid Singapore driving licence.
  • AA Ordinary Membership is personal, non-transferable and is tagged to the member and not the car.
  • AA Members must be present at the breakdown location for the Roadside Assistance Services (RAS) to be rendered.
  • The provision of Membership services and RAS, as well as waiver of RAS fees are subject to AA’s Constitution, Terms & Conditions and Service Policy, which AA reserves the right to revise at any time without prior notice.
  • Membership Entrance, Subscription and Express Fee paid are non-refundable; and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • RAS is available after three (3) working days upon receipt of the Membership application, subject to approval of the application.
  • AA reserves the right to reject any applications without providing any official reason whatsoever.

Personal and Non-Transferable

  • The AA Membership is personal and non-transferable. The Member must be present at the breakdown location when our recovery crew arrives to provide service in order to enjoy the waiver of RAS fees within the membership’s entitlement.

AA Ordinary Membership Entitlement

  • AA Ordinary Members are entitled to a fee waiver of RAS*, inclusive of standard tow^ up to six (6) times per membership year, for Singapore-registered and private-registered passenger cars with valid road tax (not applicable to taxis, motorcycles, light goods and rented cars).
  • Add-on fees are applicable for all non-standard tows (even if the tow is rendered to cars not listed in certain car-makes+ and/or within the first six usage of RAS).
  • Towing (both standard and non-standard) is chargeable for certain car-makes+, even if the tow is rendered within the first six usages of RAS).

AA Membership e-card

  • AA Members will be able to enjoy the full AA benefits and privileges with the AA Membership e-card. To access the e-card, applicants are required to download the AA Singapore App available from the Google Play Store (Android devices) and the Apple App Store (iPhone users). Click here for the User Guide and FAQ.
  • In the event that you do not have your AA Membership e-card when calling for RAS, you are required to present your NRIC, Passport or Employment Pass for verification purposes

Change of Address

  • It is important for a Member to notify the Association whenever there is a change of mailing addresses so that regular communication between the Association and Member can be maintained
  • When communicating with the Association, please provide your name, Membership number, contact number, mailing and email addresses for ease of reference

On-the-Spot Enrolment Fee for New and Expired Members

  • In the event that the AA Membership has expired and the Member requires RAS to be rendered, an express fee of S$32.10 is chargeable on top of the prevailing Membership subscription fees.
  • Expired Member (membership expired more than three (3) months) is required to rejoin as a new Member and pay the prevailing Express, Entrance and Membership subscription fee.

Family Membership

  • Family Membership holders are entitled to all benefits of membership except voting rights at Association meetings.
  • AA Family Membership is applicable to the Life/Ordinary Member’s children below 21 years old and spouse, who reside at the same address as the Life/Ordinary Member
  • Family Membership is dependent on the membership of the principal member and shall run concurrently with the membership validity of the principal member
  • The annual subscription fee for Family membership is at $32.10. However, if the family member joins at the point whereby the membership validity of the principal member is less a full one (1) year or three (3) years or five (5) years, the duration is rounded up to the nearest available term in one, three or five years
  • Family Membership may be purchased on one (1) year basis.
  • Subscription and Express Fee paid are non-refundable; and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • RAS is available after three (3) working days upon receipt of the Membership application, subject to approval of the application.
  • AA reserves the right to reject any applications without providing any official reason whatsoever.

AA Family Membership Entitlement

Drivestyle Membership

AA Drivestyle Membership

General Terms & Conditions

  • AA Drivestyle Membership is open to a holder of a valid Singapore driving license and matriculation card.
  • AA Drivestyle Member has no voting right at Association meeting.
  • Upon expiry of AA Drivestyle Membership, expiry of the matriculation card or upon reaching the age of 28, whichever comes first, AA Drivestyle Member can convert their current membership to AA Ordinary Membership category.
  • AA Drivestyle Member who convert their membership to AA Ordinary Membership category before or within three (3) months of their membership expiry date will enjoy waiver of entrance fee for the conversion.
  • Should an existing AA Member of a different membership category decide to sign up for the AA Drivestyle Membership, their current membership will be terminated and there will be no refund of membership fees for the remaining tenure. The membership type will be converted to AA Drivestyle Membership commencing from the date on which the application is processed.
  • AA Drivestyle Membership is personal, non-transferable and tagged to the member and not car.
  • AA Members must be present at the breakdown location for the Roadside Assistance Services (RAS) to be rendered.

Novus Membership

AA Novus Membership

General Terms & Conditions

  • AA Novus Membership is open to new drivers who passed their practical driving test (Class 3/3A driving license holders) and have submitted a completed application form within one (1) month from the date of passing the practical driving test.
  • AA Novus Membership is only rendered once to eligible applicants.
  • AA Novus Member has no voting right at Association meeting.
  • AA Novus Membership is personal, non-transferable and is tagged to the member and not the car.
  • Upon expiry of AA Novus Membership, AA Novus Member can convert their current membership to AA Ordinary Membership category.
  • AA Novus Members who convert their membership to AA Ordinary Membership category before or within three (3) months of their membership expiry date will enjoy waiver of entrance fee for the conversion

AA Corporate Membership

  • AA Corporate Membership is restricted to passenger cars registered in the name of the organisation making the application and are used solely for the business purposes of the organisation.
  • AA Corporate Membership is tagged to the vehicle.
  • AA Corporate Member has no voting rights at Association’s meeting.
  • A representative (eg: employee) of the Company must be present at the breakdown location when our recovery crew arrives to provide service to the specific car plate number registered with AA Singapore
  • The provision of Membership services and RAS, as well as waiver of RAS fees are subject to AA’s Constitution, Terms & Conditions and Service Policy, which AA reserves the right to revise at any time without prior notice.
  • Applicants are required to fill in all fields to complete the membership application and submit to Membership Department in order for a letter on the status of AA Corporate Mmembership.
  • Membership Entrance, Subscription and Express Fee paid are non-refundable; and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • RAS is available after three (3) working days upon receipt of the Membership application, subject to approval of the application.
  • AA reserves the right to reject any applications without providing any official reason whatsoever.


Non-Transferable

  • The AA Corporate Membership is non-transferable. A representative (eg: employee) of the Company must be present at the breakdown location when our recovery crew arrives to provide service to the specific car plate number registered with AA Singapore in order to enjoy the waiver of RAS fees within the membership’s entitlement.


AA Corporate Membership Entitlement

  • A letter of AA Corporate membership for the validlity of the vehicle(s) registered will be issued within 10 working days upon successful application. 
  • Always bring along the letter for easy identification.

AA Member-Get-Member (MGM) Programme

AA Member-Get-Member (MGM) Programme

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. All existing AA Ordinary, Family, Drivestyle, Novus and Life members (thereafter referred to as ‘Introducers’) are eligible to participate in the AA Member-Get-Member (MGM) Programme commencing from 1 November 2019 to 31 October 2020.
  2. MGM Programme is applicable for referral-based application(s) of Ordinary, Family, Drivestyle and Social Membership only.
  3. There is no limit to the number of referrals that an Introducer can make.
  4. In order for the introducer to be eligible for the MGM Perks, the referee must not be an existing AA member or an expired AA member for the last six (6) months from the date of application.
  5. MGM Programme Perk A (FREE 1-year AA Membership for every 3 successful referrals)
    • First Qualifying Period: 1 November 2019 to 30 April 2020. Successful introducers will be notified by end May 2020.
    • Second Qualifying Period: 1 May 2020 to 31 October 2020. Successful introducers will be notified by November 2020.
    • The AA Membership category extended to the introducer shall be the same as the introducer existing membership category.
    • Life Member will receive $30 AA Gift Voucher instead of the 1-Year Free Membership extension.
  6. MGM Programme Perk B – AA Gifts Vouchers
    • Introducers shall receive $10 AA Gift Voucher for every successful referral during the Double Bonus Period (November to December 2019).
    • Introducers shall receive $5 AA Gift Voucher for every successful referral from January to October 2020.
  7. MGM Programme Perk C – Stand a chance to win AA Gift Vouchers in the MGM Lucky Draw
    • Introducers will stand a chance to win $60 AA Gift Vouches during the Double Bonus Period (November to December 2019). 10 lucky introducers will receive $60 AA Gift Vouchers. The winner will be notified to collect their prize by end January 2020.
    • 3 lucky introducers will receive $30 AA Gift Vouchers monthly (January to October 2020).
    • The winners will be drawn and notified via letter on the following month after the qualifying month.
  8. Every successful referral refers to every successful membership application referred by the introducer which has been processed in the system with payment made within the qualifying month.
  9. The Introducer’s AA Membership must be valid at the point of redemption of voucher.
  10. AA has the sole discretion regarding the recipient of the MGM Perks in the event that there is more than one introducer. If different Introducers refer the same new member and the referred applicant has successfully signed up as an AA Ordinary Member, the first Introducer’s name received on the application form will be entitled to the MGM Programme Perks.
  11. The introducer who is entitled to MGM Programme Perk B from the successful referral shall be notified via mail within 1 (one) month. Introducer accompanying the referred applicant to the outlet for immediate sign up on the Membership will receive the voucher on the spot.
  12. The original copy of the redemption letter must be presented upon redemption at the AA Centre by the date specified on the letter. The redemption letter is neither replaceable if lost, torn, damaged or expired; nor exchangeable for cash, credit or kind.

  14. MGM Programme is not applicable for membership applicants at the point of breakdown (i.e. on-the-spot applicants through our recovery crew).
  15. Self-referral will not be accepted for this MGM Program.
  16. In respect of any referee referred by the Introducer via the MGM referral online page pursuant to the AA MGM Programme, the Introducer warrants and confirms that:
    1. the Introducer had obtained the consent of the referee to the provision of his/her personal data to Automobile Association of Singapore for the purposes of the Association contacting the Referee and using the Referee's personal data for marketing the Association and its subsidiaries’ products and services;
    2. the use of personal data by the Association is consistent with the consent which the Introducer has obtained from the Referee;
    3. the data provided by the Introducer is correct and up-to-date;
    4. the Association may advise the Referee that the Introducer had provided the Referee's personal data to the Association and
    5. the Introducer shall indemnify the Association for any loss, damage or liability suffered or incurred by the Association arising from or in relation to the breach of any of the above warranties by the Introducer.
  17. Corporate, Affinity, Co-brand card members, General Committee members and employees of Automobile Association of Singapore and its subsidiaries are not eligible to take part in the MGM Programme.
  18. AA reserves the right to vary, delete or add any of these terms and conditions from time to time at its discretion without prior notice. These terms and conditions will apply to the contents of any brochure or promotional materials relating to the MGM Programme.
